Legendary wrestler Walter “Killer” Kowalski is confined to a bed at a nursing home in Massachusetts, as reported by BostonHerald.com July 28. Kowalski is confined to the bed due to the poor condition of his knees and his inability to find a doctor who will perform surgery on him due to his age.

It's sad... I also read yesterday where the nursing home limits the amount of time his wife can spend with him, so he's basically laying in a bed all the time by himself. That's an awful way to live. They better figure out a way to get him up and around, because the same thing happened to my grandpa (confined in bed), and they had to amputate one of his legs because the circulation had gotten so bad from him having to lay in bed all the time.

Maybe with some get-well cards would be nice to see coming from the fans .

Killer Kowalski opened his eyes a few times on Monday and his eyes were not as glazed over as they had been before. However, he remains in guarded condition. His heart rate is good and his blood pressure is good. The fluid in his lungs is no longer an issue at this point. Neurologists have been evaluating him trying to figure out why he has been unresponsive.
