11 matches is a lot to endure... I remember when we did TV tapings with 12 matches, and it requires a lot of energy for a crowd to keep motivated and interested for 3 or 4 hours. You might think that you're delivering a lot of entertainment, but it looks like most of the people came to see Jake and then left because that was as much time as they could sit still for.

And one more thing Mike Steele, How can you call someone a "Backyarder" when you are not really trained yourself? I think you can call anyone what you think they are as long as you have proof to back up your point. This mentality of "you can't criticize the business when you're not in the business" is outdated. That's like saying I can't criticize the food or service at a restaurant because I never went to culinary school. That said, I didn't go and I don't know anyone who worked the show outside of the names, so I wouldn't know if they were backyarders or not, but judging by the number of question marks in the original report, I might lean in that direction for the moment until demonstrated otherwise.

So, not to be entirely negative, I will give Rob some props on a few things. First thing, it was a decent draw. I was little skeptical of running a show on Thanksgiving night, but it drew much better than I had expected. Second, all of the advertised names were present and accounted for. Flash Flanagan, Jimmy Jacobs, Seven Thorn, and most importantly Jake Roberts were all there. The last thing (or 2 things) are booking the ever unpredictable Diamond Dawg for the battle royal and bringing back the man, the myth, the legend......KAMALA JR. JR.!!! I have to admit, I wouldn't have expected that in a million years. I also have to admit that we marked out big time, haha.

Tensions continue to mount on here with this post with the thoughts of others on the show and the small time bashing .
Let's just look at some little considerations of what is happening here . 1)--Unquestionably some discussions here is only a lead in to only "help" this product of FEW to only become better in the end . And this is only the inspiration that should be taken by who- ever is really running this organization to get or put together a wrestling show for the wrestling fans . 2)--Yes , there was people in the building that did pay out the price of admission to only watch the show that does know the business on putting on a night of entertainment called wrestling ! And some that only did come to be on the negativity side just to make the atmosphere unpredictable at times ( 2 that came with a performer of the show) was very out spoken thru out the night on some of the local talent only showing disrespect to others . Let's say ask Onyx just who they were.
3)--Yes there was 5 people from IPW regulars there and yes they did stand in the same area that I was at some times on this night . But I seen nothing gone to disrespect this show on their part but only acting like a wrestling fan at times . Plus I do think they had more fun at this show then a IPW show because they could just be themselfs . I really do think that they did come to only check out the true challenge of competition that this group could bring to their shows , if FEW was to run against them on a monthly bases . Now the only ones that is going to WIN here is the wrestling fans !! Yes there was a lot of fans that come to a lot of wrestling shows at this one and yes I know alot of them on a face to face speaking terms , I did speak to most of them on this show about it . The answers where some + & -, about the show would they come back ? , yes, was most of the answers . (this is good ) !!
4)--Russ---I was only hoping that someone would put up all the results with the names of the workers on the show ---but this has not happen .
5)--Now for the so called backyarders -??--I saw some WCWO/TNA/ workers plus a IPW wrestler on this show ---plus I got to see some of the development talent or the up-comers . Plus I got see Jake / Thorn/ Flanagan/ Jacobs , on the show that I like to watch inside of the ring working .
Now to only close this one out : FEW , hope the next one is going to be something to see !!
Oh, I know that the (cold-one) isn't who you think it is , Rob . Plus Rob, don't wear that emotions on your sleeve here if you do that ego is only going to be deflated in the end . Remember this , Indianapolis "needs" another good professional organization to run in town just for all the true wrestling fans that go to the shows to see only talent that is in the independent wrestling business , today .

Hell, being as all FEW shows have been unorganized, not just this current thanksgiving day fiasco, might as well accept Rob Kincaid's retirement right now lol. You seemed shocked that an old wrestler like Jake would come in and want to be in a tag match instead of singles. Haven't you ever booked an old name before, they all do that, that way they get their pay and don't have to work hard for it, every promoter should have secondary plans for that when they book 60 year old wreslters. Believe me, putting the Hunchback of Scrotum Dame in the tag match with him did not help you after you had sworn you would not have Skip in a match with him. Oh I forgot, it wasn't a real match, it was a TAG match lol. You actually had a couple talented guys you could have not wasted the way you did and put them in that match with Jake, so don't lie and say it was a last second thing to have Hunchy the Bear in the match with Jake, it was obvious to everyone who knew you it was going to happen

I would like to point out that traditionally Thanksgiving Day shows are easy money. There is so little to do, and the bulk of people have finished their festivities by early evening.
